Treviso Bay is located slightly southeast of downtown Naples, with easy and convenient access along the coast. Picturesque and natural Marco Island beckons farther south, while two nature preserve areas lie to the southeast: Fakahatchee Preserve State Park and Big Cypress National Preserve.
The city of Naples is all about sun and sand on Florida’s Paradise Coast. It is a place to relax and enjoy. There are stretches of unspoiled white sandy beaches and gentle waves, with flora and fauna everywhere.
Naples is among the wealthiest areas in the United States. Not surprisingly, other highlights include world-class shopping, high-end golf, fishing and boating. With more than 80 championship courses, Naples can be called the "Golf Capital of the World” — claiming more golf holes per capita than any other community. Also, Naples is rich is arts and culture, too, hosting more than 300 concerts, performances, exhibitions and educational events each year.
In terms of business, the economy of Naples is based largely on tourism and real estate, although there are several growing technology and medical companies, as well as small businesses and a thriving sector of nonprofit organizations. The largest company is Health Management Associates, which operates health care facilities across the southern United States.
